Matilda

Hi My name is Matilda and my mother is Simone.

I had a rough start to life so lucky my mum found me and saved me when I was just a puppy. She took me home to nurse me and I never left. That was 13 years ago. 

I’m super energetic and rarely sit still, I love to lick windows and when the humans aren’t watching I’ve been known to get up onto the dining table to steal food. Until recently I lived in the farm with mum and did all the farm dog things but now I’m a suburb hound. I’m older now and mum thinks I should slow down but I still try to do all the things I used to. I hate having my nails trimmed. 

Patrick

I’m Patrick and my mum is Simone

I was a stray and was rescued by a charity group when I was already an adult. I hurt my leg and it needed to be removed and lucky for me my mum was a nurse there.  I’m pretty cheeky and like to bite my humans feet after the get out of the shower. I’m not sure why I like doing this but the noises the humans make are funny. I also like stalking the birds in the garden but I never catch them. 

Charmaine & Rose

My name is Charmaine and my feline mother is Rose.

I was only 5 months old when I was rescued with my mother, Rose and we were adopted from the Blackburn Animal Hospital last year. Our human mother is Sissi and we live with human and canine compaions now. I love playing with my little brother, Dian. He is a dog but is smaller than me, can you believe that? I love sleeping with my mother. 

Dian & Ricky

My name is Dian, it means “A dot” in Chin

I was born very tiny and immature, but with the care of my human grandma and daily medication I am doing well and am enjoying my life. I am a lovely boy and receive lots of love from my Mum (Hongdou) and my human grandma (Sissi). Ricky was my Samoyed Uncle, unfortunately, he passed away recently. I am sad, I lost my fluffy bed and I am missing him every day.

Lamington

I love to sleep on the roof of my kennel!

My mother is Emily, I am very active and like to go for walks, play tug of war and run around at the dog park. I am very cheeky! My favorite thing to do is to take socks, toilet rolls and shoes and hide them around the backyard.

Puddington

I love to try to squash my whole self onto my mums lap but I haven't worked out that.

I am not as active as Lamington but I still love to play games. My favorite game is when I sniff around to find hidden items like carrots or it could be Emily's favorite game to hide them. I am very good at using my long legs to steal things off the table!

Tilly

I am a very friendly cat who loves cuddles from everyone.

Emily adopted me as an old cat and I now have a wonderful life sunbaking on the spare bed and watching the birds outside. I also like watching my silly Beagle sibblings. My only cheeky habit is biting my mums feet when I'm waiting for my dinner! 

Nala

Hi, My name is Nala.

My dad is Dr Bill and my dad and I often walk around the parks in Blackburn. If you enjoy walking then you may come across me and my dad!!

At home I like sleeping with my little feline brother, Angus.

Ricey

I’m Susanna’s first-ever fur baby.

I’m a very independent girl and don’t really enjoy cuddles and kisses which make mummy sad. However, I am a very big fan of food, chicken especially! And mummy makes sure I give her plenty of kisses before I can have my food! 

In my spare time. I like to sleep, eat and birdwatch.

Bubble

I’m Ricey’s younger brother.

When I was little, I loved to play and destroy mummy’s socks and slippers, but I think I have grown out of it now. At the moment, I love Mr. squeaky frog and tennis balls. Although I have destroyed countless toys and tennis balls, mummy always replace it for me! YAY!

Apart from playing, my favourite thing to do is follow mummy around the house to make sure I have mummy’s full attention.

Angus

My name is Angus and I was adopted from the Hospital.

I was rescued by Homeless Hounds Animal Rescue and came to Blackburn Animal Hospital for adoption. My dad, Bill fell in love with me and adopted me. I am a very nice boy and get along well with my family. When my parents are away I often come back to the Hospital for boarding; I feel like I'm back home but I'm also shy and I play hide-and-seek; you can often find me hiding under the bedding material!! 

At home, I love sleeping with my sister, Nala!!

Lucky

I like visiting my neighbours and getting cuddles.

One of my friendly neighbours is Seung; he has a lot of dog and cat smells on him; I don't mind that as he always gives me yummy food:) 

Boonam

My dad is Seung and I was his first son!!

I love eating, sleeping, eating, sleeping, eating and sleeping. I even eat flowers sometimes!! I hate exercise but I often need to go out for a walk for my dad. I am very shy; it took me 3 months to go through the newly installed doggy door for the first time on my own (My Beagle brother did within 2 seconds..). I feel more secure and relaxed when I am sleeping right next my parents. 

Booja

I don't like this photo!! I am actually very pretty!!

I was rescued from a puppy farm. I had a lot of problems including cherry eye, inguinal hernias, ear mites, walking dandruff mites, hip dysplasia, and loose knee caps. Seung helped me a lot and I now feel great. You may think I'm ugly but my dad thinks I am the prettiest girl in the world!! I am very clever and very busy during the day managing my two silly doggy brothers. 

Boodong

I love sleeping in on a sunny day instead of going to school!!

Seung rescued me from a puppy farm a while ago. I love chewing and biting; I have destroyed so many of the house gadgets, BBQ machine, tables, chairs, doors, trees, irrigation pipes, electric cables, gas boiler and so on.. I hope my dad doesn't regret having rescued me:)
