COVID - 19 Update And Our Hospital

Blackburn Animal Hospital is open as normal and continues to provide veterinary care for our patients and clients. However, we are experiencing the current Covid-19 related staffing shortages, there could be longer than usual waiting times for consultations and phone calls. Our team would like to thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding.

We are currently offering three types of consultations.

Teleconsultation: Please call 9877 3277 or email us to receive "Teleconsultation Information Sheet" for details.

Carpark Consultaiton: You can stay within the car in our carpark and we will do the rest for you. Please ensure to call us when you arrive in our carpark.

Please note that we're strictly performing the Government Physical Distancing and Recommendations within our premise.
The health of our clients and staff is always at the forefront of our minds at Blackburn Animal Hospital, and we are taking steps to ensure we minimise the risk of transmission to all parties.

We are monitoring the situation daily and updating how we operate accordingly. We would like to inform you that we have lifted our hygiene standards even higher to keep our team and clients safe.
We are disinfecting surfaces, door handles, chairs, reception benches, and EFT machines on a frequent basis. We have placed hand sanitisers on our reception area and consultation rooms for clients to use when entering and leaving the clinic. Our staff is also disinfecting hands and minimising physical contact with the public.
No Staff Members are showing any symptoms of COVID-19 nor have they been in contact with any person who has traveled or is showing symptoms.
