Booja
I don't like this photo!! I am actually very pretty!
I was rescued from a puppy farm. I had a lot of problems including cherry eye, inguinal hernias, ear mites, walking dandruff mites, hip dysplasia, and loose knee caps. Seung helped me a lot, and I now feel great. You may think I'm ugly but my dad thinks I am the prettiest girl in the world!! I am very clever and very busy during the day managing my two silly doggy brothers.

Dr Seung rescued me from a puppy farm a while ago. I love chewing and biting; I have destroyed so many of the house gadgets, BBQs, tables, chairs, doors, trees, irrigation pipes, electric cables, gas boilers and so on... I hope my dad doesn't regret having rescued me!

Angus
I was rescued by Homeless Hounds Animal Rescue and came to Blackburn Animal Hospital for adoption. My dad, Dr Bill, fell in love with me and adopted me! I am a very nice boy and get along well with my family. When my parents are away I often come back to the Hospital for boarding; I feel like I'm back home but I'm also shy and I play hide-and-seek; you can often find me hiding under the bedding material!!
At home, I love sleeping with my sister, Nala!!

Burke
My name is Burke, and my mum is Alyssa.
Dr Alyssa’s husband found me on a pet rescue website after being abandoned in Regional Victoria and insisted that I was the perfect fit for the family. I’m big and goofy, but I love getting scratches and spending time with my littlest owner, Brooke.

Bandit
I own Dr Alyssa!
I was surrendered to Dr Alyssa’s old clinic when my owner had to go into hospice care and couldn’t look after me anymore. After living at the clinic for 3 months, Alyssa couldn’t resist my love of belly rubs anymore, so she took me home!

Florence
My name is Florence, and I'm the naughtiest kitten in the world!
My human servant is Simone. I came to live with her in November 2021 as a tiny kitten. I am very adventurous and have no fear of anything. I climb to high places and leap tall buildings in a single bound. I love my big brother Patrick and drive him crazy with my antics.
I also have a soft side and let my humans know I love them by licking their noses. I'm growing every day so my mum will try to update my photo when possible.

Patrick
I’m Patrick, and my mum is Simone
I was a stray and was rescued by a charity group when I was already an adult. I hurt my leg and it needed to be removed and lucky for me my mum was a nurse there. I’m pretty cheeky and like to bite my human’s feet after they get out of the shower. I’m not sure why I like doing this but the noises the humans make are funny. I also like stalking the birds in the garden but I never catch them.

Lamington
I love to sleep on the roof of my kennel!
My mother is Emily. I am very active and like to go for walks, play tug of war and run around at the dog park. I am very cheeky! My favourite thing to do is to take socks, toilet rolls and shoes and hide them around the backyard.
-

Puddington
I love to try to squash my whole self onto my mum’s lap, but I haven't worked out that.
I am not as active as Lamington, but I still love to play games. My favourite game is when I sniff around to find hidden items like carrots, or it could be Emily's favourite game to hide them. I am very good at using my long legs to steal things off the table!

Ash
My dad is Oliver too. I am a pretty and elegant little princess. Miumiu is my boss but I don't like being managed by him. I am always clever and lovely in front of the humans.
-

Ned
My name is Ned & I've been living with Prue & her family since November 2020 when I was 9 weeks old.
I love chasing the ball & not bringing it back. I'm a great help in the garden. I love rearranging all the plants & even digging some new holes!
I'm a social butterfly & love meeting people & other dogs. I just love life.
-

Wax
I’m Wax and my name was given by my human, Dr John. I’m not sure where my name came from.
I do have an internal flame that makes me warm and cuddly. I am loved by all who meet me.
-

Gold fish
We are nameless and shameless and not afraid to admit it. We prefer it that way. No profiling for us.
We belong to Dr John and are always in search for a meal.

Merida
Hi my name's Merida. My Mum is Reanna. My mum named me after some movie character, which is strange but I do like my name.
I really do enjoy when she grooms me, especially when she makes me all fluffy. I get lots of comments on my eyebrows. What do you think?
-

Nala
Nala here. I not only came to live with my human Reanna, but my big brother did too. We were just little babies, this was supposed to be a temporary home, but we loved her and her family so much they kept us!
Personally, I love sitting on laps, cause this means I get pats and chin scratches.
-

Lucy
Hi my name is Little Lucy, better known as Mrs Moosh Moosh. I've been with Reanna since I was 8 weeks old. I see myself as very talkative, as I try my hardest to communicate with all humans and animals alike.
I love my food and going for walks. I also learnt a very important trick, rolling over - this helps me to get my belly rubs which I also love.
-
Maggie
My mum Sam adopted me from the shelter after falling in love with my good looks. Little did she know I am a princess and deserve to be treated as such.
She named me after the magpies in the morning because apparently I wake her up just like they do, how rude! But I suppose I’ll forgive her... as long as she keeps those chicken treats coming!

Scarface
I first met my mum, Monique, and her partner in October 2023. The moment I saw them at the shelter, I knew they were mine. I made sure they knew it too - I rubbed my chin on their knee to claim them properly. From the second I hopped into my new apartment home, I could tell this was my forever family.
Since then, life’s been pretty perfect. I’ve learned my name (and I like to hear it often), posed for a photo with Santa, and enjoyed my own delicious, nutritious birthday cakes every year. My days are filled with cuddles, smooches, and a clean, comfy apartment full of bunny-approved things - fresh hay and water daily, plenty of toys to chew and toss, and clever IQ puzzles that keep my mind sharp and tummy happy with hidden treats.
In May 2024, a new furry friend named Matcha joined our family. She’s learned quickly that I’m a sucker for pats and attention, and we get along quite well… most of the time. I even return the affection when the mood strikes. After all, I am the gentlebun of the house.

Matcha
I first met my mum, Monique, and her partner in May 2024. Back then, I was a little on the round and a bit shy - it took me some time to really believe this was my forever home. But once I realised I was safe and loved, everything changed. Now I’m living my healthiest, happiest life, doing fun agility sessions around our apartment just for joy.
I’m a sensitive bun who absolutely adores a heat pad. You can bet that within minutes of getting a freshly warmed one, I’ll bunny flop and drift into the best nap ever. My mornings usually start with a jump into the bed to wake mum and dad - followed by some zoomies, of course - and when mum heads to work, I make sure to “help” by unmaking the neatly made sheets.
Between you and me, I’m much better than Scarface when it comes to the treat-ball control. We’ve become fluffy friends now, though I do wish he’d be a bit more generous with the grooming. He’s also quite the greedy guts when it comes to food! So, for everyone’s peace (and my snacks), we each have our ow half of the apartment - plenty of space to play, stretch, and munch in harmony.
